Venom Wanted

The deHavilland DH110 Vampire first flew in Sep. 43 and led to the development of a second twin-boom aircraft, the DH112 Venom. Together, roughly 835 aircraft were built.

Karl,

If you don't have any luck in the US I have access to 3 complete Venoms and spares here in England. They are potentially flyers, but haven't been in the air for something like 6 years now. If you are interested I can speak to the owner to get an inventory of parts and details on the aircraft.

I currently fly 2 Venom's and a Vampire here in England, and am happy to help you in any way I can. Email me at jon_corley@hotmail.com if you need any help or information.

Good luck,

Jon.

Jon,

Thank you for the post and the information. I am interested in the two Venom aircraft you currently fly. Where are they based and would one be for sale??

Karl,

The 2 Venoms I fly are registered G-DHVM and G-VENM and are definitely not for sale as they are part of the Air Atlantique Classic Flight and AIRBASE museum.

As previously mentioned I do have access to 3 other Venoms which are complete and were flying on the UK airshow circuit about 6 years ago. They could probably be put into a ferryable condition relatively easy. If you are interested in one or all of them let me know and I will get some details over to you.

Kind regards,

Jon.

What are the registration numbers for the three Venom aircraft? Where are they currently located?

Thanks

Karl,

I don't know the exact registrations at the moment as I am on vacation. I will send you some details of registrations and location next week.

Kind regards,

Jon.
