Gen. William J. Fox Airport, Lancaster, Ca., is having the 2nd annual airfair,September 12th. Pancake Brkfst 8 - 10, displays 9 - 3. We had a good time last yr.

I'm looking for interesting aircraft for the static display, and won't turn down flybys/Low approaches. Be advised: NON-waivered airspace-normal procedures.

Would appreciate displays be in position Fri eve, but NLT by 08:30 Sat.

KWJF is on L.A. sectional, 10 DME on the PMD VORTAC 296 degree radial.

Joshua App Ctrl 124.55 , Twr 120.3, Gnd 121.7.

RWY 6 - 24, 7,200 long, 2,350 MSL(Jet TPA 3,700 MSL).

Let me know soon if ya'll can make it so's I can matrix the ramp space.

Wish I could make it to Fox Field, but I have already committed to an Air Show on Sep 12th in Ontario, OR. Maybe next year! Do you know next year's dates yet?

Too bad, as this is also the weekend of the big Sacramento Airshow at Mather Field.
And there's a show on Friday, 11 Sept at Fallon.
Already going to both, so hope to catch you next time.

Just a good time.
Will advise for next year's 3d annual airfair. Expecting Marine CH-46E from HMM-764, Jet provost from R&D Jet Warbirds, L-29R (local), various EAA homebuilts,Citation jet, possibly aircraft from civilian flight test school at Mohave,etc TBD.
Pancakes at 08:00, BBQ available at noon at "Foxy's" coffee shop.

AirFair is a fly-in, non waivered. Please fly per FAR 91 in KWJF area-I live here.

-great BBQ vendor here this year to offer lunch. He catered our Christmas party-excellent
-Bring your unusual/exotic/turbine/balloon lawnchairs/whatever for display. Come in Fri PM, or be on the deck by 09:00 saturday.
