Dec 17, 2012 - CJAA Jet Blasts are the premier CJAA member event* – They feature a number of aircraft, a larger number of pilots and support personnel, a suitable base of operations, two-three days of flight and flight training, and some fun socialization after hours. And for 2012 we already have three on the books.

The locations are selected to provide a good flying environment and the dates are selected to prevent overlap with local airshows. The three Jet Blasts already on the books are:

• 2012 Chicago Jet Blast, KDKB – DeKalb, IL, May 18-20, 2012
• 2012 St. George Jet Blast, KDXZ – St. George, UT, Jun 1-3, 2012
• 2012 Wendover Jet Blast, KENV – Wendover, UT, Aug 23-26, 2012

Event schedules are still being worked out, but expect EAEs to be available for proficiency checkrides and Check pilots for FAST training. More details will be published as we get closer to the dates, but for now we’re asking interested pilots to mark their calendars.

* Note: OK, the Conventions are pretty great as well. Expect to hear an announcement regarding our 2012 CJAA Convention very soon.
